The nearest metro station to Delhi Zoo is Pragati Maidan Metro Station.
Pragati Maidan Metro Station is located on Blue Line of Delhi Metro.
The distance between Zoo and metro station is 2.2 km. It will take 10 minutes to reach the Delhi zoo after exiting from the metro station.
You can hire any can or auto rickshaw to reach there. However, if you prefer to walk down to the national zoological park, it will take 20 minutes.

How to Reach Delhi Zoo from Gurgaon?
It is very easy to reach Delhi Zoo from Gurgaon. Here are the steps you need to follow:
- Take a metro station from Gurgaon. Board the train either from Huda City Center.
- After 18 stations you will reach the Rajiv Chowk Metro.
- Change here and board the metro going towards Vaishali/ Noida City Center. You can easily find this metro on platform number 2.
- Wait for two more stations. Now get down at Pragati Maidan Metro Station.
- Take a cab or rickshaw from here and ask to drop you at Delhi zoo.
How to Reach Delhi Zoo from Noida?
Metro would be the best option if you want to visit Zoo in New Delhi. Keep in mind the following steps:
- Go to Noida City Center Metro Station
- Board the train going towards Dwarka Sector 21 or Vaishali.
- After 9 halts you will reach at Pragati Maidan Metro Station.
- Exit here and take any cab/auto to reach the zoo.
