Graduation Requirements

- Two extra credits in World Languages and the locally developed Checkpoint B World Languages Exam
A required exam students need to take and pass is the Regents Exam in English Language Arts (ELA). For mathematics, students have to pass a higher level math exam like Algebra II or the Integrated Algebra II/Trigonometry Regents Exam.
Students also have to pass multiple science exams. Usually, these include Chemistry, Living Environment, and/or Physics exams. For social studies, students have to pass the global History and Geography Regents Exam along with the United States History and Government Regents Exam.
Another requirement is to complete a second language other than English. The most common approved languages include Spanish and French.
